KAKOSMOS | 2024 | +Philipp Kapitza

As Utopia questions our way of living and thinking, as well as our habits and collective identities, we aim to draw a holistic Portrait of this non-yet realised world within our cosmos.
Phantasy evolves from - and adresses - individual experiences infused with visions from an undefined source. Crea- ting a Mash between what is (already) and what can be, we all live in different spatiotemporal realities, each in a different body with an individual pace and acceleration.
We find ourselfs in a transit(ion) from one state to another - always. The world lies in ruins or to speak with bruno latour, we find ourselves in a kakosmos.
This portrait we draw remains a sketch. A concrete image is not given, but a misty speculative landscape is shown. An entity roams through spacetime. Creatures collide. An auratic construction whispers of lightness and gravitation.
Multiple personalities live within us.
